Jeniffer D. Nieves Gonzalez, born and raised in Puerto Rico.

   I was introduced to jewelry making by my mother during my early childhood. My mother as a beauty salon business owner, she would display jewelry made by her to sell.

​

I've always had jewelry supplies close to me wherever life took me. 

In 2013, my mom and I moved to New Jersey, and it wasn't until then that I began to indulge in my creativity.

​

During the COVID pandemic, I decided to move back to Puerto Rico and to make extra money, I would sell wire wrapped crystal jewelry and that was the beginning of SAGITTA.

SAGITTA has allowed me to find a space where my love for art, fashion, crystals and trinkets come together to birth unique jewelry, as I like to call "wearable art".

​

I have always believed that wearing handmade is a "flex" considering the experience, time, investment and TALENT that is put into handmade items.

​

I aim to use the best quality of materials I am able to get my hands on for all of my creations. Most of my beads & materials are locally sourced.

My designs are 'freestyled".

I love to work with contrasts of colors & textures to create harmony and movement through all my pieces. I incorporate crystals, gems, natural pearls, glass & steel in my designs.
